I heard her mention OYO and OBATALA....Some other ones too but I forgot...She (witch doctor/ curandera) was also speaking some sort of Dialect so its difficult to remeber. but before my cleansing the man working there gave me 3 candles CHANGO AND OYO. The third was of the virgin mary to cleanse me from hexes and curses cast upon me. What brought me there was my inner intuition....it's as if it was telling me that someone was harming my life....So I got the cards read. Everything he said to me was so true it freaked me out.And sure enough he said that someone I trust and know is putting stuff into the food I eat and I believe him because I know this person is into the occult. I'M more at peace now after the cleansing I know I'm going to be guarded now by my orishas (i believe its more than one).But I've heard theres one thats more dominant than others....for me who would it be? i know Ochun wears yellow and shes the Goddess of adore and money.She also likes sunflowers...and he told me to keep honey in my home and feed it to my hubby. And to buy sunflowers.... he told me to bring some bacardi and white cardinals for the ritual (which I didn't take by the way)....and I wasn't allowed to look the ritual I had my eyes closed the whole time, until it was over. In my dream, I woke up and got ready for school, but I put my iPod and a shoebox in a pail, then filled the pail with water. I walked to school with the pail and took note of my surroundings: it was hot and deserty looking, with no houses or people on the road. When I got to school, it looked nice of like my school in real life, but more run down. The paths were every gravel and sand, and the pond that's in front was a dark red. Inside, I put the pail in my locker and then went back outside again, backpack in hand. There was a rush of people I knew getting ready to go home. Out of nowhere, my pal Bob (who was told to cease flirting with me in class in real life) came up to me and was like, "Do you wanna' go on a date with me?" in a really girly voice. He didn't even give me time to answer and walked away. I ended up walking home on a different path, stopped by the white pail I had just put in my locker. Opening it, I poured out the water and took out the contents: 2 water filled Duracell batteries, my iPod (suprisingly unharmed) and the shoebox. I opened the shoebox carefully and I was suprised to look a pair of glistening gold speed skates.... which is silly, because I'm not a speed skater, or someone who wants to be. Open Question: how many cats is too many cats :)?

i live in a big home with a decently sized front and back lawn not very close to any roads so my cats pretty much stay outside allot and arrive inside to snooze and eat i have two cats a tiny dog a turtle in a ten gallon tank a red eyed tree frog in a big terrarium a whites tree frog in a 75 gallon tank and a pacman frog in a ten gallon tank ... i know of a cat that is just being left outside because the "owners" just let their cats breed and breed and breed so theres about a bajillion cats out there and some ass hole came along and shaved him (only 8 mos old and o yeah did i mention hes a LONG HAIRED cat) and tossed him back out into the icy with no food or a home to go into not to mention the fact that their roaming around a garage that has antifreeze puddled up every over and im worried he could drink it and die (wouldnt be the first cat from there to do this) do you think another cat would be insanity .. hes really beautiful and loves people and is litter trained am i insane for contemplating this???

Open Question: Why do liberals misunderestimate Sarah Palin?

Well they're making a big mistake, because this lady has won over Middle America in a way no recent politician has done. When she speaks, the people gather, when she writes books, they sell out right away....so why do liberals poke fun at such an accomplished lady? Are they just being sexist? Let's look, Obambi was the senator of Illinois (now, we every know that states have two senators, so he was able to have someone share his work, something a governor doesn't have because there is only one governor in a state; Alaska is the largest state in America, whereas Illinois most certainly is not; What takes more skill, governing the largest state or senatoring a tiny state; Alaska borders not one, but two countries, one socialist and the other communist. Illinois does not border any foreign nations, so why do liberals think that Obozo has foreign policy experience when he never had to stare down the Russians or the Canadians or keep socialism from spreading like a cancer into our society the way a person who has to contain Russian and Canadian influence has to? Obummer has only two kids and grew up in a dysfunctional family outside the United States. Palin was raised in America by a normal family and has five kids, something conservatives know how to do. So it's clear who has the family values!!! Palin cares about America, spends her time in America whereas the One jets off to foreign countries like Kenya and Hawaii and Indonesia every chance he gets. Open Question: Now that the AGW hoax has exposed Al Gore as a charlatan (again), will he crusade for amnesty for illegals?

The list of Al Gore's bogus causes is astonishing. He stared crusading for the WMD lie in 1992. He crusaded for NAFTA. He crusaded for the theory that CFC's cause the Ozone Hole. This has now been scientifically discredited, and the ozone hole is even bigger today (the 2006 hole was the largest on record). He attempted to sue his way into the White home in the 2000 election, even though he never won even one of the numerous recounts he demanded. Most recently, he has been disgraced again over the Global Warming theory, after the charade in Copenhagen. He has been exposed as a charlatan over and over again. Yet for some reason he is taken seriously by some. He's like the white Al Sharpton or something. Everybody else can look he's a total fraud, to the point of being almost comical if it weren't for the damage he does. And yet, he has his difficult core followers who seem unable to detect what a charlatan he is. And some of them are the ones who award Nobel Prizes. What will this charlatan's next crusade be? Will he go on the lecture circuit again to crusade for amnesty and citizenship for illegal aliens? Will people forget his past and take him seriously every over again?

Open Question: Can you help me FINALLY lose weight?

Ok before you say diet and excersize I KNOW!!! I work out 5-7 days a weeks between 30 minutes to 1 hour cardio, then so some pushups and sit ups things like that. I eat 4-6 tiny meals a day. around 200-300 Calories Each. Healthy stuff. Fruist veggies, lean meats, almonds, whole wheat crackers and breads. No white rice. What do i do wrong... I have a latte almost every day and i cant seem to stay full off what im eating and i some times lose control and eat the home. Then i purge. I want to lose weight im sleepy of being so fat and discusting. Im trying to lose 21 pounds. Im currently 146lbs, 20yrs, 5'8, female. I cant even have sex with my hubby because i feel so discusting!! He's getting sleepy of hearing it too. I Cant seem to receive lower and i dont know what to do. I need advice, how to control my hungar, pills, super excersize moves, anything!!! Please Help Me lose Weight!!!!!

I live in a Transitional Housing building in my town, and one of my chores this week is to clean up outside. As I was picking up trash, I found several odd things on the lawn and basketball court. They were flat, mesh-like, rectangular objects about 3" x 4", covered with a reddish residue and caked-on white residue. There were burn-marks on the pavement of the basketball court where I picked them up. I also found a couple of makeshift tubes bent into an obtuse "V" shape. Forgive my ignorance, but what is this?

Open Question: how do i get rid of the white noise on my sony wega?

I have a ps3 and the sony component cables. I use it on a basic sony wega tv. The green, blue, and red cable every make noise occasionally and sometimes they do every the time. It's pissing me off and I cant play Modern Warfare 2 with that noise going. I asked someone what the problem was and they said if u plug the cables in and back in they will cease and that didnt work for me. He said if it didnt work then its the tv. I tried to tell my parents we may need a new tv for downstairs. Id like to have an HD one since id then receive full quality. This tv im having problems with is the only one in the home that doesnt have HD. I talked them into helping me receive a used one for cheaper. Hey. So im 17, and i'm mixed race (half white half Pakistani). My dad is white..my mum is Pakistani (Muslim). The guy.. I met him on a social network site at the beginning of this year. We talk everyday whether it be on the phone, online, or by text. We've ended up getting really close and i'm gonna admit it..i've fallen for him. We've talked about meeting up. (I know its him we go on webcam to each other) and well he likes me and really wants to meet and i'm the same but theres just one problem. His religion. Hes a Sikh. My mum is Muslim and her and well basically the whole of my family do not like Sikhs. I don't know why ..its just the way they are. My mum told me to stay away, she even drove me up to my aunties home for my auntie and my cousin to tell me to stay away!! I dont know what to do though coz I really like him :( ..but if I met him I would feel like I was betraying my mum most of every. He said he would never unconvert..

Open Question: I have problems when i sleep. maybe hallucinations, sleep paralysis, or demon attacking me Very strange dreams?

It every started in seventh grade. I was having a bad dream when every of the sudden i woke up and i was like struck with intense fear or more like if fear was a physical force and it was holding me down because i couldnt move. I was being paralyzed but it felt more like if something was on top of me. Then something like lightning struck my back. It didnt burn or shocked me. It was very very icy. I didnt look the lightning nor did i look any sort of manifestation of fear on me, i Felt it. After a while it just seemed to cease. And by then i was extremely afraid it might arrive back or if i was in hell or something like that. I couldnt tell. So i was stuck below my sheets for a while. Id like to say about an hour before i got out and looked at my digital clock. It was 5:30. Now it happend at least seven times after that not exactly like the first but it still happend. It usually was without warning and some were with a dream some werent. every had a physical force like fear on me holding me down. Only did the first time it happend did i feel that sort of lightning on my back. Others had several dreams or visions while it was happening. Its been a year since its happend AND it happend again. Just this time it was very symbolic in my dreams and no physical force of fear did i feel. It was every mostly a dream. It start in my school cafeteria. No one but two other students were there. It was very dark and ominous and the lights were dimmed. In the middle was a huge oak/mesquite like tree and the two students for hitting the walls while a flow of something like honey was comeing to there feet. They tasted some and so did I and it was the very sweetest thing i ever tasted( keep in mind i was tasting honey in my dream). The tree also had honey on it. But it was difficult molded into shape of weird looking fruit. it was apparently uneatable(now that i think of it The tree of adam and eve?). I went outside and were the buses picked people up except there was no one there and the whole place seemed trashed. almost like post apocalyptic. Then out of nowhere a guy with sunglasses on in a motorcycle came to me. I knew it was satan. I dont know how i knew i just knew. he had a white beard and seemed to be middle aged. He gave me a tiny yellow piece of paper. It had profanity and very cruel bad things written on it.(i cant recall what it exactly said but yeah) And on the bottom seemd to be his signature. A upside down star of david with a circle around written in Red. I went back inside the cafeteria. And the students were motionless. as if there soul had left the body which was like an empty shell. The abudant flowing honey wasnt there and the tree may have disapeard. I went back outside and my parent in some sort of car bus thing had arrive to pick me up. I saw the piece of paper next to me. I went inside the vehicle and we drove off to some sort of place where you would look a homeless person live. We were around a flame when i went to receive the paper i picked it up but by the time i was outside the vehicle (which had somehow turnd into a home thing) it was not in my hand anymore. I tried several times, each time failing. I told my parents the whole story around the flame (the next sentences every happend an a split second)Than the ground shook and my step dad seemed to have tried to receive away from me to receive out of there. And my mom, well she just was wondering wether to abanden me or not. That when I realized where exactly i was... I was in Hell. We were every hit with Intense fear and i WOKE UP. I could still feel the fear in my bed for a while when it just stopd. And again i was in my covers for an hour wondering if i should receive out. when i did it was 1:35 in the morning. I was very very scared. I stayed up untill the sun went up, My family had seemed to maybe had been affected by the hold thing. They acted very weird around me. Anyways if i havnt told u yet im in ninth grade. And i dont have a clue why the hell this happens to me. Anyone Know that have had similar experiances?

The new claims of alleged groping contradict statements by Massa, who resigned his office on Monday after it became public that he was the subject of a home ethics committee investigation for possible harassment. Open Question: Previously posted question about Dish Network?

I previously posted a question about what was wrong with my Dish Network when it went off on stand by at exactly 3 AM every day, and how to fix it. http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20100308001907AAB1L6s. I think I may have found a solution to my problem. But here's one part I still don't receive. At the old home, when it went onto stand by in my room, the Dish Network screen would pop up and then you would select no or cancel to cancel the stand by; and it didn't go to the annoying grey and white, like it does here. Now I don't know if that is because that at the old home, in my room I didn't have a reciever, like I do here. I not sure why it does that here and wouldn't there, but I think I may have found a solution to it. I read an article online about what causes stand by on dish network recievers, and it said that a receiver and or dvr will go onto stand by ever 24 hours that the receiver and or dvr is on without turning it off within a 24 hour period. So evidently, I have to turn off my receiver at least once a day to make it cease stand by. I think that that's it because several days ago, I accidentally turned off my receiver only for a minute, and that night it didn't go to stand by. But for how long should I turn it off for? Does anybody know? Could it just be for a second or for several hours? I GREATLY appreciate every of your help!!!!!!!!!!!

Open Question: Why didn't Republicans tackle healthcare when they controlled the White House & Congress?

From 2000 to 2006 GW Bush was president and the home & Senate were majority Republican. This would have been a perfect opportunity for Republicans to implement tort reform and allow health insurance to be sold across state lines. Instead every we got was Medicare Part D which was entirely unfunded and makes up the largest ever expansion of "socialized medicine" since the New Deal.

Open Question: Is it possible that my cat is having an allergic reaction to her cedar litter?

My cat has been itching like crazy lately. She does not have fleas, I use advantage and I have searched her white coat and found not a single one. She eats Wellness cat food that has tons of omega oils in it, I have even added a bit of olive oil to her food thinking she was just dry from the wood heat of the home. Now I read that cedar oil can be toxic to cats, is it possible that her litter of cedar shavings is causing her itching? She is mostly itching around her face, her paws and legs, and her below belly. Any thoughts?

The ID card plan is one of several steps advocates of an immigration overhaul are taking to address concerns that have defeated similar bills in the past. The uphill effort to pass a bill is being led by Sens. Chuck Schumer (D., N.Y.) and Lindsey Graham (R., S.C.), who plan to meet with President Barack Obama as soon as this week to update him on their work.
